At Masseria del Carrubo, the cuisine becomes a journey through the history and the Sicilian gastronomic tradition, thanks to the inspiration and skill of chef Giuseppe Catanese.

Twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, upon reservation, guests can enjoy an exclusive culinary experience, based on the selection of the freshest ingredients and representative of the territory. The proposals range from the flavors of the thousand-year-old carob plant, already used by the Phoenicians, to the iconic dishes of Sicily, reinterpreted with creativity.

The catch of the day, chosen directly at the arrival of the boats in the port of Portopalo, is transformed into preparations inspired by the ancient recipes of local fishermen. The flavors of the sea and the land blend in dishes that draw inspiration from the traditions of the Val Di Noto, with recipes handed down and found in Grandma’s pizzini.

An authentic experience, where each course tells a story, accompanying guests to the discovery of the true Sicilian gastronomic soul, between innovation and memory.
